I was born in an era when Hindi film industry was prospering thanks to its popular music. The meaningful words of the lyricists, the melodious tunes by the music directors, and the songs sung by some of the greatest singers in the Hindi film industry left me spellbound, and singing became my passion. I never had time to formally learn singing, but it has been my favorite hobby. Now, after retirement, I have attempted to sing some of my favorite songs in my own voice. Hope you enjoy.

This song has been sung by Mohammed Rafi and picturised on Manmohan Krishna and Daisy Irani from 1959 film "Dhool Ka Phool". In this movie Manmohan Krishna won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. This song was tuned by Music Director N. Datta (Datta Naik) and speaks to religious harmony.
