I was born in an era when Hindi film industry was prospering thanks to its popular music. The meaningful words of the lyricists, the melodious tunes by the music directors, and the songs sung by some of the greatest singers in the Hindi film industry left me spellbound, and singing became my passion. I never had time to formally learn singing, but it has been my favorite hobby. Now, after retirement, I have attempted to sing some of my favorite songs in my own voice. Hope you enjoy.

This song has been picturised on Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman in the film Kala Bazar (1960) sung by Mohammad Rafi and tuned by S. D. Burman with echo effect in the natural surrounding and melodious voice. I am honored to post this song on his 36th death anniversary (July 31).
