I was born in an era when Hindi film industry was prospering thanks to its popular music. The meaningful words of the lyricists, the melodious tunes by the music directors, and the songs sung by some of the greatest singers in the Hindi film industry left me spellbound, and singing became my passion. I never had time to formally learn singing, but it has been my favorite hobby. Now, after retirement, I have attempted to sing some of my favorite songs in my own voice. Hope you enjoy.

Manna Dey
Manna Dey was considered one of the top most classical singers of Hindi cinema. Even though he sang few romantic duet songs which are very popular, he gave his classical touch to each and every song. This song is from the 1957 movie "Dekh Kabira Roya". The music was composed by Madan Mohan.
